Ductile cast iron Low temperature and high pressure
Ductile iron has much stronger mechanical properties than ordinary cast steel. Ductile valves are valve made of free-carbon spheroidized ductile iron (FCD-S) called graphite in the metallographic structure. Ductile cast iron (FCD-S) is used for INOVI’s ductile valve, and the graphite spheroidizing in the structure is different from that of malleable cast iron. Ductile cast iron is more suitable for valve in mechanical properties than maleable cast iron. Ductile valve is widely used in industrial applications such as steam, gases, oils and water.
